Who we work with

Often the best partnerships happen the first time. A company building its first in-kind donation program. An NGO with a specific need a partner could fill. A foundation looking at a new way to deploy resources. We're at our best when something specific is on the table and the relationship hasn't been built yet. We work every side of the partnership, not one or the other.

The shape of it

Four phases, no template.

Every partnership is different, but the work tends to move through the same four shapes. Some engagements live in one phase for months. Others pass through all four in a quarter.

Listen

We start by understanding what each side is actually trying to do, and where the work is harder than it looks from the outside.

Design

We name the shape of the partnership. How it's structured, what each side is in for, and how it stays honest when conditions change.

Build

We do the unglamorous work that turns a good idea into a real partnership, alongside the people who will carry it forward.

Hand off

When the partnership runs without us, we leave. We stay available if anything bends.
